Looks like things are hotting up now.
ReplyDeleteI heard within a rail forum that another firm have been brought in to do the wiring, whilst the existing firm will concentrate on putting up the structures and cantilevers in preparation for the new wiring team.
There are quite a few separate contracts and sub-contracts involved, I think.
ReplyDeleteWhilst talking in a forum today, I have been told that mast bases already in place between Huyton to St Helens Central have now started appearing at Garswood.
ReplyDeleteOh, whilst talking within the forum, I've also been told that the wires between Newton-le-Willows to Ordsall Lane Junction are getting switched on Sunday 4th August.
ReplyDeleteWell, they need to get a move on then but I can safely say far more catenary is in place than of late!
